the Thundersport GB Aprilia Superteens Challenge on an Aprilia RS 125 I also did selected rounds at MRO and North Gloucester. We had a plan for me to learn how to ride the bike in the first year, and then have a go at the title in the second year. This year we have made brilliant progress, starting off
Ever since I can remember I have always wanted to race motor bikes. When I was 7 for Christmas I received my first motorbike a Malaguti 50. After spending two years learning to control the bike my parents bought me my first Moto Cross racing bike a beautiful yellow Suzuki RM 65. I did a season on it, learning about racing and gradually picking up the pace finishing 5th in the North East. Next I moved up to a Yamaha YZ 85 Moto Cross bike which was a big step up in size and power. I raced this all over the North of England gaining experience. After completing a season on it, my bike and associated gear were stolen from my garage leaving me with no bike and the season due to star the following week. My Dad then took me down to Llandow Circuit, South Wales where we watched Mini Moto and Metrakit racing. A week later, my dad bought me a Metrakit 70cc Road Racing bike and we started racing in the Fab Racing Series. During the year I gradually got faster and more confident on the bike. After a great year, we decided to move on to do
very slowly and ending up just off the podium. At the first round at Mallory Park I qualified in 38th position which was slightly disappointing. From then on I have increased my speed and at every round made very satisfying progress. Towards the end of the season I have won races at MRO (plus seven rookie wins) and managed a forth place at Thundersport GB (with one rookie win). Racing at Donington Park at the World Superbikes and MotoGP events also really stand out as my season highlights.
After an amazing year with the JDF Racing Team in 2010 I became the well deserved Aprilia Superteen Champion! I managed to stay consistently competitive throughout the season, taking 14 wins, 33 podiums, 18 pole positions and 2 lap records! Thanks to JDF Racing and all of my personal sponsors, including, Quantum Pharmaceuticals, SLJ Web Design and Magnum Motorsports, I managed to achieve my 2010 goal!
For the 2011 season, I will be competing in the British Superbike GP125 Class. I will be racing for the very prestigious SP125 Racing Team under the tutelage of experienced team manager Steve Patrickson. With this support I believe that I can take my racing career to the next level, I will be 100% committed and focused in order to achieve a successful season in this prestigious race category.
